Transform a sheet of metal into bold, sculptural jewelry that you'll reach for everyday. Forge a statement dome ring using traditional silversmithing techniques. Beginner-friendly, but the results look anything but. Basic metalsmithing skills covered: sizing, filing, soldering, shaping and finishing.
This workshop is taught by Shelby Evans, owner and maker behind Modeco Jewelry, a woman-owned jewelry line based in Portland, Oregon. With years of experience in metalsmithing and handcrafted jewelry design, Shelby is passionate about helping others learn the art of jewelry making in a welcoming and approachable environment.
*No prior jewelry making experience needed. We will be using a small torch and other semi-hazardous tools, so we kindly ask that all participants are at least 18 years old.*
