Create a beautiful retro-inspired floral crochet tote in this cozy intermediate workshop with guest instructor Becka of Radiant Beans. With its vintage-inspired floral design and soft handmade charm, this project is perfect for crochet lovers looking to build on their existing skills while creating something both stylish and functional.

In this hands-on class, you’ll learn techniques for creating floral crochet motifs, joining pieces together, and beginning tote construction while growing confidence in intermediate crochet skills and pattern work.

This workshop is designed for guests who already have basic crochet experience and feel comfortable with foundational stitches including chain stitch and single or double crochet.

New to crochet? We currently have two Beginner Crochet Workshops on the schedule in June that are perfect preparation for this class.

What to Expect:

  • Small Class Sizes: With only 8 spots available, our cozy workshop size means you get more hands-on help in an intimate learning environment. We're all about creating a quality crafting experience!
  • Step-by-Step Guidance: Becka has been crocheting for over 19 years and has taught workshops throughout Portland and Vancouver, including Flock Fiber Fest. Known for her warm and encouraging teaching style, she is passionate about helping students feel comfortable, confident, and supported throughout their fiber journey.
  •  All Materials & Tools Provided: We supply everything you need, just come ready to relax, learn, and create alongside fellow crochet lovers.
  •  Social Atmosphere: Enjoy a fun and relaxed environment where you can meet new friends and share your love of creating.

Additional Details:

  • Skill Level: Prior crochet experience is required for this class, including confidence with chain stitch and basic stitches like single or double crochet.
  • Workshop Duration: Approximately 2.5 hours.
  • Project Completion: Due to the detailed nature of this project, some guests may need to finish their tote bag at home after class. Guidance will be provided so you can confidently continue working at your own pace.

Our studio is not a public retail location and is best suited for guests who enjoy a quieter, more personal creative environment.

We look forward to crafting with you!
