7/11 Silver Stacking Rings Workshop

Have you ever wanted to learn the basics of ring making? This is your chance! Join us for this fun and engaging workshop, where you'll create a set of 3 gorgeous sterling silver stacking rings. You'll learn some basic principles of metalsmithing along the way, including filing, soldering, shaping, and finishing.

This workshop is taught by Shelby Evans, owner and maker behind Modeco Jewelry, a woman-owned jewelry line based in Portland, Oregon. With years of experience in metalsmithing and handcrafted jewelry design, Shelby is passionate about creating an approachable, encouraging environment for beginners and creatives alike.

Perfect for all skill levels, Shelby will guide you through each step of the process. At the end of class, you'll leave with a beautiful set of rings that you'll be proud to wear every day!

*No prior jewelry making experience needed, but this project requires a bit of patience. We will be using a small torch and other semi-hazardous tools, so we kindly ask that all participants are at least 18 years old.*

What to Expect:

• Small Class Sizes: With only 6 spots available, our cozy workshop size means you get more hands-on help in an intimate learning environment. We're all about creating a quality crafting experience!
• Step-by-Step Guidance: Our instructor will provide instructions and demonstrations to help you create your masterpiece.
•  All Materials & Tools Provided: We supply everything you need, including silver, supplies and tools.
•  Social Atmosphere: Enjoy a fun and relaxed environment where you can meet new friends and share your love of creating.

Project Details:

• Dimensions: Your rings will each measure approximately 1.5mm wide and will be made to your finger size.
• Material/Color Options: All rings will be made of solid sterling silver. You can choose to finish them to a high polish or satin finish.
• Duration: You will be given 3 hours to complete your project.

Our private studio is not a public retail location and is best suited for guests who enjoy a quieter, more personal creative environment.
