Punch needle is a timeless fiber art that has made a huge comeback in recent years, and for good reason. There’s something incredibly calming about the rhythmic motion, textured stitches, and slow process of creating something by hand. Craft Collective studio owner Candy has been doing punch needle since childhood after learning alongside her mom in the 1970s.
In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn foundational punch needle techniques while creating a finished tote bag to take home. Once you learn the basics, you can apply the technique to pillows, jackets, wall art, gifts, home décor, and so much more.
What to Expect:
• Small Class Sizes: With only 8 spots available, our cozy workshop size means you’ll receive plenty of hands-on guidance in a supportive learning environment.
• Step-by-Step Guidance: Learn beginner-friendly punch needle techniques including threading your tool, creating consistent loops, filling shapes, and finishing your project with confidence.
• All Materials & Tools Provided: Each guest will receive a tote bag, punch needle tool, embroidery hoop, yarn, and access to multiple beginner-friendly design options.
• Relaxing Creative Atmosphere: Slow down, work with your hands, and enjoy the calming rhythm of punch needle while connecting with fellow makers.
