10/17 Chunky Blanket Workshop

Slow down, get cozy, and learn one of Craft Collective’s most loved signature workshops.

In this beginner-friendly class, Craft Collective founder and instructor Candy will guide you step-by-step as you create your own oversized chunky knit blanket using soft chenille yarn and just your hands, no needles or knitting experience needed.

You’ll learn the basics of hand knitting including casting on, building rows, and finishing techniques in a relaxed and social environment.

Due to the size of the blankets, some guests may need to finish their project at home after class. A step-by-step video tutorial will be provided so you can confidently complete your blanket on your own.

6 skeins of soft, chunky yarn (choose from over 40 color options)

Step-by-step instruction in a fun, beginner-friendly setting

Details:

Project: Blanket approx. 30" × 50" (size varies by knitting style)

Duration: 3 hours (most participants will not finish in class, but all techniques needed to complete your blanket will be covered)

Skill level: Beginner-friendly, no knitting experience needed

Seats limited to 6 students for ample space to spread out
