5/2 Stamped Leather Belt Workshop

Join guest instructor MacKenzie Krumhauer of MAK Leather Goods for a workshop that will last you a lifetime. In this hands-on class, you’ll design and build a custom leather belt from the ground up.

You’ll learn foundational leatherworking techniques including measuring, cutting, designing, stamping, and assembling your belt using high-quality 12oz Wickett & Craig vegetable-tanned leather.

Whether you style it for everyday wear or reach for it during summer outings and concert season, this is one of those pieces that only gets better with time. A well-made leather belt can last for decades, something you’ll wear often, keep forever, and even pass down.

All tools and materials are provided, including your choice of a classic solid brass buckle, or you can browse MacKenzie’s curated collection of vintage and gemstone buckles for a more personalized finish.

Each guest will leave with one completed leather belt. If time allows, you’ll have the option to purchase additional materials to create a second belt.

Our private studio is not a public retail location and is best suited for guests who enjoy a quieter, more personal creative environment.

What to Expect:

• Small Class Sizes: With only 8 spots available, our workshops are intentionally small so you get more hands-on support in a relaxed, personal setting.
• Step-by-Step Guidance: You’ll be guided through each step with live demonstrations, making it easy to learn and create at your own pace.
• All Materials & Tools Provided: Everything you need is included, just come ready to create.
•  Social Atmosphere: Enjoy a welcoming, creative environment where you can connect and create alongside others.

 Project Details:

• Dimensions: Each guest will create one custom leather belt, sized specifically to you or your intended recipient.
• Material/Color Options: You’ll choose from high-quality 12oz Wickett & Craig vegetable-tanned leather and have access to a variety of stamping designs to personalize your belt. 
• Duration: You will be given 2 hours to complete your project, but many finish sooner.

This class is suited for all skill levels, no prior experience needed.
