Join us for a hands-on beginner sourdough workshop led by The Beer Homestead, focused on learning the fundamentals of sourdough baking in a supportive, small-group setting. This class is designed to give you a clear understanding of how sourdough works so you can confidently continue baking at home.
Students will learn how to feed and maintain a sourdough starter, mix and shape dough, and understand the basic fermentation process. This workshop is ideal for beginners or anyone who has been curious about sourdough but unsure where to start.
We kindly ask that all participants are at least 16 years old or 13+ when attending with a paying adult.

Project: Beginner sourdough loaf
Duration: Approximately 2 hours (11AM-1PM)
Skill Level: Beginner-friendly, no prior sourdough experience needed.
Seats: Limited to 8 students
Our new private studio is not a public retail location and is best suited for guests who enjoy a quieter, more personal creative environment.
You’ll leave with a solid foundation in sourdough baking, a starter, a loaf of bread, and the confidence to continue practicing at home.
